Zuihoden(Mausoleum of Date Masamune)

Zuihoden Mausoleum is the mausoleum of Date Masamune, the founder of Sendai. The magnificent architecture expresses the ornate style of the Momoyama period. Mausoleums of the second feudal lord and the third feudal lord are also contained in the grounds.
There is also a museum which displays the personal items buried with each feudal lord.

Access
Bus: From JR Sendai Station West exit, please take the bus at the bus stop No.11 or No.12 and get off at the "Otamayahashi" bus stop, then walk for 10 minutes. / Sightseeing Loop Bus "LOOPLE SENDAI": Please get off at the "Zuihoden Mausoleum" bus stop.
