Sankyozawa, Sendai City is the origin of a hydroelectric power plant in Japan and the first place of light in the Tohoku region. At “Sankyozawa 100-Year Electric History Center”, visitors can learn the history of electric power and the rich nature of the Hirosegawa River that has been supporting the development of the power plant.
